Role Profile:

Utilize frontend development expertise to support business needs on scalable ecommerce sites 

Be integral part of the development of several multilingual e-commerce websites that are built on a vast eco-system of applications based on Magento and Drupal.  

Work with other developers to ensure that the websites are functional and visually appealing. 

Build reusable code and libraries for future use. Ensure quality of developed code based on industry and internal standards. 

Liaise with the business to understand their needs and expectations. Gauge the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs. 

Suggest performance improvements through AB testing. Resolve frontend issues of any kind, to maintain quality of developed websites. Support IT QA activities by writing test cases and user guides that are clear and concise. 

The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to: 

Responsible for helping to formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme. Work closely with back-end developers and customers to ensure an effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementation.  

Responsible for designing and implementing new features and functionality, establishing and guiding the websites architecture, ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS. Work closely with front-end developers and customers to ensure an effective, visually appealing, and intuitive implementation.  

Knowledge (Desired):

Experience 

5+ years’ experience in Drupal (including custom module development, key contributed modules and core API). 

Proficient in the maintenance and administration of Drupal modules and sites 

Hands on experience in Core PHP, MYSQL  

Experience with responsive and adaptive design is highly preferred 

Experience in building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications 

Experience in designing and developing websites 

Knowledge in debugging tools 

Experience in developing web solutions in Drupal and PHP implementations. 

Skills:

Experience in creating custom Drupal modules 

Fair knowledge in the Software Development Lifecycle (i.e. Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs
