Role Profile:

      BI Developer will work in the Insights and Analytics team and will closely with Senior BI Manager to support multiple streams in organization. Main responsibility will be to ensure that stream has all necessary data points and basic models in place to have effortless experience for generating insights. Support with action if needed. Facilitate Self Service enablement through transition from data-butlering into self-service analytics.

 

 

 

The below Key Performance Areas include but are not limited to:

 

  1. Data preparation: Oversee data cleaning and normalization using Power Query. Develop code that is used to prepare tabular data
  2. Modeling: Understand basic modeling principles to support relationship models development
  3. Data analytics: Create analytical expressions using DAX and produce measures that can be used to create visuals
  4. Strong Visualization skills
  5. Desire to learn and upskill
  6. Systematic and coherent approach to troubleshooting
  7. Work with Data Analysts and ensure timely delivery of deliverables

 

 

 

Knowledge (Desired):

  1. Support with data modeling
  2. Perform DB review
  3. Develop dashboards
  4. Provide insights using existing models and DAX
  5. Work with line manager to support project delivery

Help derive insights to drive business decision making

 

Experience

  1. 2 or more years’ experience as data analyst
  2. 1 or more years’ experience with Power BI (Dashboard creation, automated dataflows, gateway management)
  3. Experience in retail/ecommerce industry preferred
