Role Profile:
Undertake all/any responsibilities appropriate to level of experience for activities within Sales, Cash Collection, Credit Collection, General Ledger, Purchasing, Banking, Loan Accounts, Payroll, Inventory and the Cashier’s Office, to ensure the integrity and correctness of all financial data/ transactions. Undertake financial reporting and interfaces with internal and external auditors to clarify on audit issues. Support work process simplifications and system enhancements initiatives to boost the efficiency of the Account team. Support critical closing procedures to ensure timeliness.
Experience:
• Degree / Post graduate qualification in Accounting
• Retail Business operations
• 7 years accounting within retail or similar business
• 7-8 years of Experience in Accounts
• 4-6years of Experience in general ledger and Fixed Assests
• Should be Experienced in AR AP and Fixed assets
• Knowledge on Foreign currency Exchange / Multi Currency Knowledge
• Payable balance
• Tax Understanding
• Oracle based Inventory System / SAP ERP
• Experience with Working on Stocks
Skills:
• Good Understanding of oracle financial system.
• Strong experience in ERP, preferably Oracle and a very good knowledge with Excel
• Candidates with prior Retail business operations experience would be most preferred
• Good exposure towards Inventory 3-4 years
• Fixed Assets , AR , AP
• Ability to learn fast, and take initiative, work independently and deliver on time
• Good written and verbal English skills.
• Good communication and patient listener.
